    I think that the Pope wanting to engage himself and other influential people around him to use new media to send out a message is a very intelligent move to make. It is no surprise that nearly everyone is using the Internet and new media such as blogging and social networking to keep in touch and stay involved with what is going on around the world. The nice thing about using new media to spread the Christian message is that those who wish to engage in such can and those who wish to ignore such a message can as well. Overall, I think it shows that no matter who you are or what your purpose, new media are becoming more popular and noteworthy.
